1st WSA Sparring Meeting

The #WSA invite for the 1st WingChun/WingTsun/VingTsun Sparring meeting & Info event. FOR BEGINNER & ADVANCED!!! Every Lineage and everybody who is interested is welcome to be active on matts or just to watch :)

Free entry, no cover charge. If you like to give a donation, we appreciate it. This bucket goes to the gym owner for Provision of the gym.

Scheduling:

After a warm up and safety briefing, 10-12 rounds - 3min each, will follow. Rules set is in generally about MMA Unified Rules. Suggestions are welcome.

You choose:

Light contact
Without gloves - no head strikes

Or full contact
With 8oz mma gloves - incl. Head strikes

and a color of round character:

Red - danger - stand up incl. takedowns & Groundfighting (submission only or incl. GnP)

Yellow - beware - stand up including takedowns

Green - everything ok - stand up only

In case of divided descision, the round run about the "more safe" color. If you pick yellow and i pick green... it will be a green round. If you pick red and i pick yellow... it will be a yellow round... et cetera.

You need:

Mouthguard & groin protector

8oz mma sparring gloves (but every kind of glove maybe will be ok. Bring witch one you have and we chooese together)

Shinpads (if you are an roundhouse kicker)

Throuser short or long (with rope shutter)

T shirt(s)/rashguard/gi jacket

Towel, water

AFTER SPARRING starts the INFO EVENT

with analyse of the rounds, exchange, details, methodology, forms, chi-sao, lat-sao, applications, kuen-to box form, padwork

and also in theoretical dialog
